The September, 2004, meeting of the Biomedical Research Institutions Information Technology Exchange will be held in Seattle, hosted by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC). This page offers links to useful information about the coming meeting.

REGISTRATION: All attendees must register in advance. To register for the meeting, go to the on-line registration page. NOTE: Lodging is NOT included in the registration fee. Lodging arrangements must be done separately (see below).

LODGING: A limited number of rooms have been set aside for participants at the Residence Inn by Marriott (206 624-6000), immediately adjacent to the meeting site. A special rate of $119 is available. You must contact the hotel directly to make lodging arrangements.

DIRECTIONS: Different parts of the BRIITE meeting will be held at different locations. You should check the directions page for guidance.

WEATHER: Seattle has been warm and dry for many weeks. However, the long range weather forecasts suggest that rain may be possible during the meeting. You should check the weather link (to the right) just before coming to the meeting. And, you should probably bring an umbrella or otherwise be prepared for the possibility of rain, as we will need to walk several blocks between buildings every day.

Copies of the agenda, information about speakers, and information about the special networking session, are all available through the links at the right.
