  Implementing Security for Research Computing

The October, 2007, meeting of the Biomedical Research Institutions Information Technology Exchange will be held in San Francisco, hosted by the University of California / San Francisco (UCSF). This page offers links to useful information about the coming meeting.

REGISTRATION: All attendees must register in advance. To register for the meeting, go to the on-line registration page. NOTE: Lodging is NOT included in the registration fee. Lodging arrangements must be done separately (see below).

DIRECTIONS: Different parts of the BRIITE meeting will be held at different locations. You should check the directions page for guidance.

All of the locations of the BRIITE meeting are easily accessible from stops on the T-line tram. These are noted on the directions page. CLICK HERE for a detailed brochure describing the T-line tram.

NOTE: Exact change ($1.50) is required on the T-line. Bring quarters.

WEATHER: The ten-day forecast for San Francisco looks promising, but it is always good to come prepared, especially if you plan to add extra time to your trip for exploration. Weather in the SF Bay Area is well known for being "locally abundant" - meaning that marked weather changes can occur over very short distances.

Copies of the agenda and other information about the meeting are all available through the links at the right.
